• Why the led chandelier light bulbs don’t work with incandescent dimmers?

They are not dim in the same manner since LED candelabra light bulbs consume such a low wattage, and many types of dimmers in the market do not function with LED in the same way that they do with high wattage load incandescents. So if you use the led dimmable light bulbs with old incandescent dimmer, they may damage the circuit or the driver of the led bulbs and result in flicker, broken, blinking, flashing.

• Why do I need a special dimmer switch for the led bulbs?

Because of their circuitry, LEDs are not always compatible with ALL dimming switches. Producers design the circuitry according to the most famous dimmer brands in the market, the better power the more dimmer models will they be compatible with.
